The Mullan School of Irish Dancing was established by Sandra Mullan in 2007 and to date, has approximately seventy pupils. It is based in Sheffield and is registered with An Comisiun le Rinci Gaelacha (The Irish Dancing Commission). Sandra began her dancing career in 1976 (!) with the wonderful June Way at the Deegan Academy in London and thereafter with Griffin O’Loughlin, where she achieved many World, All Ireland, Great Britain and All England Championship medals both in individual and team dancing, until she retired in 1989. The Mullan School has two types of class - a ‘fun’ class, for those not particularly interested in competing and the ‘feis’ class for those who are already, or who have a firm wish to compete in the future. Should you wish to attend any classes please contact Sandra in the first instance. This is a wonderful art form, a glorious celebration of the irish culture and a fantastic opportunity to build the children’s confidence, so that they realise that anything is possible. Preparation is everything - REACH FOR THE STARS!!!
